Take a wide stance & aim for a vertical surface, which is lower than your shoes. Also,  avoid weeing onto a hard surface such as asphalt or compacted dirt. In a toilet, alter the angle of your wee stream so that it hits the wall of the toilet/urinal at a gradual angle; the closer to 90 degrees, the worse the splash back will be. You can also lay down a piece of toilet paper and aim for that.

Many people with injuries or physical access requirements have great success with the pStyle. If you are on crutches, can't sit on a public toilet after a hip replacement, or just have a hard time getting up and down due to painful knees it will be very useful. People who use wheelchairs have varied success. You need to be able to get to the front of the chair and get the pStyle under your body in order for it to work.

If it is convenient, wash the pStyle with soap and water, otherwise simply rinse with water. If neither option is available shake the pStyle vigorously - this removes most of the urine - and wash it at the next convenient time. Sanitary wipes can also be used to clean it. The pStyle is dishwasher safe. If you have an infection or are prone to them, always clean the pStyle with soap and water between uses.

First re-read the first FAQ. The ideal spot for the back end of the pStyle is just forward of the perineum so the widest part of the cup is centred under your urethra. You may be placing the pStyle too far forward or too far back. Either misplacement may lead to the urine either going over the back edge in the case of having it too far forward or hitting the narrow part of the funnel and spilling over in the case of having it too far back. The tilt of the pStyle should be just enough to cause the urine to move down and out. If you tilt it too far down this can also lead to leakage as there will not be a good seal around your urethra. Make sure you are holding it level & check to see that clothing is not inside the cup.
