Sensing the Wild - A slow wander for a restless world

Forest Therapy & Plant Music

A collaboration between Catherine Marty and Leesa Nash:

  • Be guided to gently tune into your physical and intuitive senses, surrounded by the rhythm of the forest.
  • Wander slowly and mindfully, awakening your deep connection to the wild both around and within you.
  • Discover intimate forest landscapes and witness the turning of the local indigenous seasons — following the changing weather patterns, plant cycles, wildlife behaviour and bird language.
  • Rest beneath the forest canopy, listening to the electromagnetic frequencies of the trees and plants, accompanied by gentle music.
  • Pause with a reflective Tea Ceremony and return to the world with a restful calm.

Private & Public events:

  • Redwoods Forest (Warburton)
  • Gresswell Forest (Bundoora)

Your Guides & their Work

Catherine Marty - Plant Music

Catherine Marty is a Trauma Informed Counsellor, Ecotherapist, and Sound Healer who invites you into the enchanting world of plant communication through the music of nature. Using plant music, she helps you listen to the unique and beautiful songs of plants and trees. She combines this with guided mediations and sound to help regulate your nervous system and experience the forest in a unique way.

༄

Catherine guides you on a transformative sound journey featuring shamanic drums, Native American flutes, chimes, and voice — harmoniously woven with the melodies of the trees. The plant sounds are created using a device called Music of the Plants, which connects to the roots and leaves to capture the plant’s electromagnetic frequencies and translate them into soothing musical tones.

༄

"I felt held and cared for throughout the experience which is a reflection of Catherine's beautiful heart and immense competency working with people and facilitating transformation, inner growth and mental wellbeing. I will definitely come back for more!"
